Reviews and Ratings
I had an interesting first experience with an all-inclusive stay at this hotel. The old-style decor was charming, and despite being a bit dated, the room was functional and tidy. If you enjoy the all-inclusive style, this could be a great pick for you, although it wasn't my usual holiday style. The sea-facing room we requested was a highlight.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were super clean and comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a quiet night's sleep with a lovely sea view. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, making my stay even more special. The location was peaceful and convenient, although lacking in nearby shops and bars. The dining experience was outstanding with a variety of dishes to choose from. Overall, a great value for money!
I absolutely loved the old-style decor of the hotel and having a carpet in the bedroom was a great touch. The drenched balcony until sunset provided a lovely spot for guests to enjoy.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated with a lovely touch of complimentary Madeira wine and fresh fruit, but the dated design adds character that could be lost with a refurbishment. The service was friendly overall, although a bit standoffish at times. The location offered a peaceful ambiance with beautiful pool views, but lacked nearby attractions. The dining experience had some hit and miss dishes, including great salads and omelets, but also undercooked and fatty options. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel offers a clean and tidy room with plenty of storage, although slightly dated in appearance. The meals provided were varied and satisfying throughout our 11-night stay. The overall experience was extremely clean and comfortable.
The hotel is truly a home away from home with caring staff that make you feel like family. The rooms offer comfortable stay with beautiful sea views, making it hard to leave. Excited to return and reunite with the lovely staff!
The hotel is like a home away from home with such caring staff that make you feel like family. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and clean, making it hard to leave. I can't wait to return to see everyone again!
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, facing the sea with good air conditioning and a quiet ceiling fan, but unfortunately, they were noisy and had a dreadful smell. On the bright side, they were clean and offered lots of storage space.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with ample storage space, featuring two double beds and a cozy armchair for sunny afternoons, making it a budget-friendly choice if views are not a priority. The exceptional service from Danny, Miguel, and the attentive wait staff adds to the overall pleasant stay, reflecting top-notch recruitment and training throughout the hotel. The location, though lacking external activities, provides a comfortable and spotless environment with two pools and convenient shuttle services to Funchal during the day. Despite some inconsistent food quality at breakfast, the dining experience offers a diverse buffet selection with standout items such as Dim Sum.
